Tokico springs (with D Specs)

Anybody know about the Tokico springs they sell for the D-Spec shocks? I saw them on Ebay:
BRAND NEW RELEASE. These are brand new in the box a set of 4 ( 2 front , and 2 rear ) and 4 Tokico lowering springs with a 1.2 inch drop (DSK 507)TOKICO D SPEC 16 WAY EXTERNALLY DAMPING ADJUSTABLE STRUTS SHOCKS TO FIT 2002 to 2005.
I'm looking for a linear spring for a moderate lower and hopefully better track handling.

dude, run away from this guy. he is also selling d specs for the 00-03 G35. he claims that the kit you are looking at can fit on both coupe and sedan. Im suspicous. Not to mention his price of $695 is no cheaper than getting the right kit from a reputable dealer. several of the sponsors of this site offer D specs with H or S techs for $650.

If you examine both ebay ad's you will see that their are different kit numbers related to the springs. Each 350Z and G35 shock and spring ad list different springs.

Glad to see Tokico finaly release the springs. Now we need to know if they are linear and what the spring rates are. Just wish they didn't pick a 1.2" drop amount.

why is that? I think my 1.2" drop is perfect.

if you're looking for a moderate drop, linear rate, and better track handling, look no further than the Hotchkis springs (and sways, of course) - right around 1" lower all the way around (a little lower in the rear than the front, which I really like) - combined with my sways set on M/M, the 340/330 spring rate improves the ride quality and handling in all situations... I plan on doing the D-specs shortly (before my track day in July) so I'll give everyone an impression of the final setup...

G coupe drop springs that lower a coupe 1.2" will drop a sedan 1.7", too low for me. Now if they make yet another version that is for the sedan only, hey I'm all for a 1.2" sedan drop.

oh, I see.

bzabodyn- your drop looks good.
I use H-Sports (Hotchikis for imports) on my Cooper-S and they are
excellent springs...the best out there for the MINI's right now.
with that said, I am sure the Hotchikis for the G is kick ***. the rates
look good too..and being linear is a big plus. but the rear drop could
be a little more from a dressup perspective.

If I were to put the Hotchkis springs on a sedan, would I immediately need to purchase upgraded shocks, or would my OEM sports shocks hold up? They only have 1,000 miles on them at this point.
