I'm gonna go with bf goodrich tires!
I cant make that recommendation. I think they are a good value. They are not as quiet and well mannered as the Pilots, but they dont cost as much as the Pilots. If you dont mind alittle noise, you'll get a relatively inexpensive tire that rips thru water like you wont believe and has more grip than I care to find the limits of. You wont see the slip light very often (first thing I noticed
).
I dont have many miles on them yet (<1000). My biggest gripe with ANY tires is when they lose grip before the tread is really worn. I'm not sure how the rubber compound will feel in 10K miles. That will decide whether I buy them again. Personally, they are on my strong buy list for the wet performance. If youre in SoCal, you might care less about wet performance, but here in the south its a consideration. Nothing is more dangerous than having to go 45 in the interstate while other cars pass you in heavy rain. For now, at least while the tread is new, the KDW will make you very stable in the heaviest rain.
