The simple answer is No. A search would have brought these threads up. Read them and you'll see why there are no front strut tower bars for the sedan yet.

protocav: Are you fabricating mounts of some sort so that the front strut tower bars will be able to fit on G35's? Please share any details you can give.

Please post pics of your fabrication, I am sure there are many interested people for this. Thanks.

i intended to finish fabrication tonight, so that i could have the bar on at the tuesday night G meet. my tig ran out of gas, however, so i will finish it tomorrow night after i get a new tank. i will get some in progress pics, which at this point will only be "unpainted" pics, because the brackets are pretty much done.

sorry for the blueball, everyone.

I spoke to DC Sports and they are in fact still working on the front strut tower brace for our car. They said they haven't abandoned the project but it's taking longer than expected. They said it should be out by the end of the summer.

Kenchan, what setting do you have your Stillen sways on? I'm about to buy them and want to know how I should set them. You said the front strut tower brace is the last piece but do you have the rear strut tower brace? Does anybody have that yet? I'm thinking about getting it but i'm not crazy about the idea of cutting the plastic panels on the car to get to the top of the struts.

Will a strut brace make a significnat difference in rigidity? Would an X brace work better. I thought someone was fabricating one of those too but haven't heard about it in months...

KjbAlto- Your settings can differ from mine cause of other sus component differences. but front soft and rear med is a great place to start. I drive
pretty spiritedly at times, but do not track the car.

Here's my setup:

I have my Stillen set at:

F: soft
R: med

The D-Specs are set at:
F: 4.75 turns from full hard
R: 4.5 turns from full hard

Spring rate:
F: 358 max (S tech)
R: 463 max (Prokit)

Camber & Toe
F: -1.8 & 0.09 degrees total
R: -2.6 & 0.30 degrees total (tried -1.4, but rear did not settle well)

Tires:
F: 245/35/19 (S03)
R: 275/35/19 (S03)

The spring rate and damping is soft enough that I don't think I will need
the rear strut bar. But I think the chassis is twisting in the front when
Im going through tight turns, so I want to brace that down. I don't
trust the factory endlinks too much to go any stiffer than what i have
on the Stillens. hehe.

hope this helps.

Hopefully, the bar will clear aftermarket plenums and stock plenums with spacers.

Hey randy,
i have pics of it, but i didn't really get a good response when i showed it to some people, because the end brackets aren't coated. they didn't seem to recognise that mild steel looks like crap when it isn't coated. oh well.

i added some bad-a$$ features to it last night, and i should be painting it tonight. i will post pictures this weekend for sure.

Chad
