Question: What's the best way to drop an 1" all around.

The best way to drop 1" in price order.
Comfort based coilover:
Tein CS or HKS LS $1550
Performance coilover without straying too far from comfort
HKS RS/LS+ $1600
Bilstein PSS $1195
Performance coilover
Tein Flex $1550 (EDFC optional $323 + install)
HKS II $1800-$2000
Zeal function V6 $2855
Truechoice phase 4 $2995
Moton Club Sport @$3995 http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=24459
Performance spring
350Z H-techs with Tokico D-spec shocks should offer coupe a .9"/1" drop
$155 + $550
Performance spring not too far from oem comfort *without shock replacement
Hotchkis 350Z springs
$170 should lower coupe **1.1"/1.3"
Tein G35 S-techs
$155 lowers coupe **1.2"/.9"
* I still recommend shock replacement as the oem shocks do not compare to Tokico D-specs, even on oem springs. Also I'm speaking from the position of currently testing 350Z H-tech's on oem shocks.
**Staying within alignment spec is in question.

Thank you. I got my G about 2k miles ago and she's in need of a drop. I really liked coilovers on my S4 and will likely get them again. I'll do more STFA, but the Tein CS or HKS LS look like what I'm looking for.

Alright guys, about how much am I looking to spend to buy some used Oem 350Z Springs? A buddy of mine here in Florida said he is willing to sell me his used springs that came off his 2003 350z Track Edition model with 10,000 miles on it. How much should these used springs cost in all honesty what would you guys pay for these? After installing the springs what is the next best thing to do? Seems like the Tokico D-spec shocks are pretty good to get but I also have some interest in the Hotchkis sway bars. What would be the ideal setup for me to get considering I like taking turns fast but then again I don't do autocrossing? Gsedan35 please help me out as I know you are the suspension god here, other members input is welcome too as always! Thanks again

Goldsport, i just purchased some used 04 Z springs from Tony Nazzal from Performance Nissan in LA. his email is tonyn@perfnissan.com. Email him and let him know you're interested in buying some used springs. I heard the late 04 and 05 springs are better than the older 03 springs. I recently bought it from Tony for $75 shipped. I also have some Tokico D specs on order. Hope this helps
My understanding is that there is no difference in the 2003 Z springs, it was only the shocks that were upgraded in 2004. So 2003 should be fine, if you are planning to use the D-Spec anyway.
Anyone have the Tein CS? Changing the springs (at least on my WRX) was a pain...coil overs is SOOO much easier, because you don't have to worry about compressing etc! The problem I see, if any with the CS is that they are one way adjustable...meaning the lower you go the spring rates increase..vs the Flex's 2 way which the height is not dependent on the spring rate and vice versa...(if that makes sense) haha..
I am looking for that same inch...so 1 way might not be a problem?
Input?

I vote for the 350z RSRs if you just want to go the spring route. If you want to add shocks to the mix, I'd throw in some Koni Yellows. If you want to go all out and get a good coilover system, check out the Jic Flta-2 or the HKS RS. Good luck with your choice.
