Z car garage alignment...pics!!

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have experience with z car garage. I am thinking about going to them for alignment. They quoted me over $200 to do it. Is this about right? Any experience on how good of a job they do? Thanks in advance!

I had Rob do it and the car is perfect. The wander is out of the car and it feels right. My price was not $200 but about $165 and that was almost a year ago though. Z Car is top shelf, you should have no worries.

since its been a year, how even is the wear on your tires? i have been traumatized by two bad alignment jobs already!!! my rears wore out unevenly and i got s03s on them but heres a pic of my current stock pilot sport fronts. you can see that the inside is worn out way more than the rest of the tire. i will be getting S03s on the fronts too.

Too expensive for an alignment job. Go to Auto Innovations and pay less than $100 for a job well done.

Alan-how low is your ride? cause it doesn't look like you have aftermarket
A-Arms but you have the TypeCS on there. Even if they lessen toe-in, if your
car is dropped quite abit the neg camber is going to be too much.

I wouldn't drop this car any more than -1.2" in the front unless you have
camber adjustment. Mine's at -1.2" camber -1.8 and wearing pretty
flat. 0.09 degrees total toe-in.

ken- my car isnt dropped that much. i have a 2 finger gap between wheel and fender. i wanted it so that i wouldent have to worry about scraping everywhere, and under normal conditions, i dont. i only have kinetix camber arms on the rear :/ booo A arms are nother 400 bucks down the tubes. *cries* hopefuly i can get the fronts reasonably close to spec without them. what do you think? i will post pics of how low i am tonight (i am at work right now)

They don't do alignments there. He sends all of his cars to Rich, near Lincoln ave in Santa Clara. The reason why its more money its because they will pull your factory arms to bring your car within OEM spec without aftermarket equip. I had mine done last month.

take your car to westend and have darren allign it. he does a great job and when he did my (cough cough) honda he did it with me sitting in the car to make sure it was perfect when i was on the track. he also pulled it out drove it around the block, pulled it back in and rechecked everything. made an addjustment and did it all again. good guy and i think i paid somewhere around $90. i did have adjustable camber in the front and rear of that car so it was easy to get everything to the specs i had wanted. the number is 310-808-9233 there and remember to use darren.
