What we've found, the answer is YES, but we still cannot decide that's the chemical from wheel cleaner or from the car detail stuffs.

So for now, I will say stay away from it

wow, how bad is brake dust on your wheels? soap and water seems to work for me. then I usually give them a good wax.

but then again, I clean my wheels once or twice a week.

Eagle One A to Z wheel cleaner works great on my stock 18"s. I follow the instructions, never spray on warm or hot rims.....wait 30 seconds, and rinse off. I still give them a final cleaning with my car wash soap.

After they dry, I coat them with SONUS acrylic detail spray.

It's red in color, I have no idea of the name it's made by some company MACK SUPPLIES? It's RED and he uses it to spray on rims to clean them and get rid of the brake dust... it seems to work awesome on my rims, but I'm curious is there any sort of clearcoat or anything I should wash out for?

Thanks
I know what that stuff is. It works really well, but if you leave it for too long it will eat through clear coat. I have seen a rim my friend had it on for over 4 hours and it ate the clear coat. It's made by touch of class. It's good for only a very short period, but I wouldn't use it all the time.

Simple Green works just fine for cc wheels. Eats through the break dust and doesn't hurt a thing.

Use it all the time on the G. Used it on the SVT before that. And the Pathfinder too.

All with cc wheels. Not a problem.
