I think most people are getting about 20k miles on the stock pilot sports give or take
a couple thousand miles.

i have about 3k miles on mine and they looked pretty new when I took them off
when i got my SSR's... but I did have the alignment done early to lessen the
toe-in. i noticed my tires were wearing too quickly on the inside.

some performance tires only last about 10k miles and at 3k miles
they sometimes look about 25-35% worn.

 

Got 13K outta my rear Eagle RS-A's. Front were perfect though. SO i just changed all the rims and tires. lol.

 

Is it normal for the front tires to go bad before the bad tires? I have about 28K miles on my car and the insides of the front tires are going bad... i went to the dealer to get them checked and they replaced my front left strut for leaking... is the inside wear caused by the bad struts?... or is it just normal for the insides of the front tires to wear out around this mileage?
