Has anyone tried the 350Z strut bar to see what's different? Is the bolt pattern the same? I wonder if we could just modify the Z bar to work with the G?

No can do.

The 350Z has special welded on mounting platforms or tabs that allow the car to run it's front sturt tower bar. The G35 places it's battery output cable in the way on the passenger side. And on the driver's side the mounting tab to hold the A/C return lines is in the way as are the A/C return lines themselves. You cannot run a oem 350Z STB unless you weld on the Z's mounting tabs and reroute the A/C return lines.

Didn't think anyone was going to respond, thats what I was wondering. I will see if I can come up with any ideas and someone to help out with making new pieces.

I have a friend who is very good at 3D and owns a Z, so we will see what we come up with to modify it for the G. Tinman would you be able to help if we come up with a product?

DCSports lists a strut tower bar for the G35, but it's in "TBA" (to be announced) state for sometime.
