wheel & tire opinion - camber question

JLine SDMSL2 19x10 x 19x8 gun metal - wheels

TOYO T1R size TBD

I recently put on eibach prokit springs and have some camber in the rear (wheels tilt inward: e.g. // \\ . The tilt is ever so slight but I do not want to wear out my tires unnecessarily. Anyone have suggestions and/or experience with the best fix for this and parts/labor involved?

I was quoted ~$2600 for the wheels and $1030 for the tires. 4-6 weeks delivery.

Have you had an wheel alignment since after lowering the car? Your car may be able to be put back into factory spec. depending how much the eibach lowered the car. Remember, the G35 already has some negative camber from the factory. I believe an 1 inch drop in the rear will change the the camber (negative) half degree and 2 inch drop will change the camber to 1 degree.

That's a good deal for JLine wheels! Where did you get a deal like that? Let me know. Thanks

I called a second dealer in the Orange County/Los Angeles area and they quoted similar prices.

Includes mounting, Balancing/Install

Total with tax and tires= $3899

Those are the wheels I have on order now...I am also going with the same tires...just haven't order them yet. I'll probably get them local so the warranty will be easier to deal with and such.

What size wheels did you get? (width?) and what size tires are you thinkin about? I was quoted a little more from Creativeautoworks...so I am curious about the size you were quoted.

As far as the camber in the rear...I went with the Hotchkis springs, and used the Kinetx upper control arms for the front, and the SPC camber/toe kit for the rear. I got all of those suggestions off the thread by MillersG. He had a great thread posted with all the info and links to the products.

ooooo I hope you will have pictures available once you get the wheels. I am going big... However, considering my knowledge in wheels and tires, or lack there of, I hope I am getting a reasonable configuration.

19 x 10 rear wheels 285/30 rear tires
19 x 8 front wheels 245/35 front tires

I have now decided to go with the satin metal look which appears on the website. I believe my only option for the lip is the step lip as well, which I have chosen of no consequence.

What color is your coupe?

What wheel and tires sizes did you order?

Also, I am probably going to get the Nismo Exhaust, I can't get enough of how it sounds...

I have a 2005 6MT coupe - black on black... I was going for the darker wheel look but thought that the lighter metal will be more pronounced, offering a cleaner look.

oh... I just got a third quote from HW motorsports: $3800 out the door.

The SPC kits are available at www.camberkit.com They are the best way to adjust toe since they adjust from the stock location and the camber arms bolt in directly.

Wow thats a good price! They were going to sponsor me and give me 30% off retail. 20's were 3550.00. I love the wheels I just thought there were better choices for that price!
