Tein H Tech questions/issues
I just had my srpings installed yest. I LOVE them my gf's who never seem to notice anything about my car even comments how it now glides and takes turns much faster.
There are two issues now however:
Thats must have been the fastest settle in of all time because the rear is low now in back after being perfect yest. The front is perfect no problem
nice look everything, The rear looks nice but i noticed this morning that when I have 2 people in the back seat I am rubbing. I just attributed that to 2 nice sides adults in the back, Well I went to go ang get some gas and filled the tank... rubbing again. Now I realyy dont wanna go around with a quarter tank of gas in the car so what are my options.
1. I have heard of "rolling the fenders" what is that and where can I get it done?
2.With the 18 in coupe rims, the back gap was always perfect to me, What can it hurt if i were to run the stock spings in back and just harden the sway bar since the h-techs are essentially about equal to the stock srpings in ride quality? its there any reasy to absolutely stay away from mixed springs.
Thanks.

You're rubbing?! Which H-Techs do you have? I had the Z H-techs with four people in the back(don't ask) and I didn't rub. Plus I had wide gt-7 volks with an aggressive offset. I did pair the springs with Tokicos. Maybe your shocks are shot?
That's weird that you're rubbing w/stock 18's on. I had a similar problem when I put S-Tech on my '03 Sedan. The front was perfect but the rear was a lot lower than I expected and it was rubbing but I have 20 x 8.5 all around. What I did was keep the front S-Techs (i like the lower look in the front) and changed the rear springs to H-Techs and the rubbing is mostly gone. It still rubs sometimes when the car is loaded and I'm taking a curve but otherwise is fine.
will- you have the coupe or the sedan? Sedan and running the coupe 18" wheels?
If so why don't you try giving it a little more neg camber on the rear, just enough
to clear the fender.
Your swaybar settings won't do you much good while going straight.
