Sprint 1.75" Springs Installed!
Hey all, well here it is, just finished installing a set of Sprint 1.75" springs on my 03 G35 Coupe 6MT and it came out great! The car actually rides very well! I was very surprised! Sure it's gotten a tad bit stiffer (performance mods are a give and take business), but for the most part still everyday usable, does not bottom out, handles awesome and looks amazing! For the time being, everything drives and looks perfect, but in about a week or so once everything settles, I'm gonna throw it up on a rack and see where it is alignment wise.
I seriously am VERY happy with these springs and would recomend them to anyone and best yet, there's a guy on eBay who has them for like $130 and change! Also don't be fooled by the price, for those of you who don't know, Sprints been around for a LONG time, and are based here in the USA. Check em out!

Ducatiguy,
Glad to see someone finally put Sprints on their coupe. I was The first to get Production model springs on the Sedan. I was sponsered by Sprint on my last car. I wish my front was a little lower though. Looks like yours sits just perfect.

Yea it sits perfect, I'm very happy with its stance. Not too low and much better than stock. After having it out all day, I'm still very pleased with the ride quality. The one thing that I did notice, I believe the toe is a little off on the car, but that can be corrected once I get it up on an alignment rack. A friend of mine has the Eibach's (1.1"/1.0") on his coupe and although both he and I can tell the difference from stock, many other can't, unless there's another coupe near by to compare it with; however, with the Sprint's you can easily tell the cars been enhanced.
PS: I wish I could get my G setup to look like my icon, however that would require me to custom fad 20" oem looking rims (which believe it or not, can be done for a nominal cost of approx $1000 a rim) and drop the sucker a solid 2" plus...

Off topic, what camera you use to take the above pic with? If film, lens and film type? Very curious.

All the images on my site, ie; the pics of Karen modeling, the pics of my trucks, and some of those of my friends like Anna, Kat, Bree and Stacy, I have taken using one of two digital cameras I own.
I have a Canon S200 (2megapix) and a Canon G2 (4megapix). I love the S200 for its compact size and durable structure, and I like the G2 for its awesome pro level features. Both of them, as you can see, take amazing images! I use the G2 for times when I need super large images / print and the S200 for everday shooting. The images of my car that you see above were all taken using the S200 and have been reduced in size approx 50%.

Ohh and I almost forgot, I don't think they're progressive springs, they didn't look to be, well at least to my eye they didn't. If you want check, in with sprintspring.com and see what the low down is.

Re: Sprint 1.75" Springs Installed!
Quite honestly, there's not a very big diference from stock as in ride quality. The stock springs had more give than the Sprints, but that's normal as they're designed to balance comfort with performance for your everyday driver. The Sprints are a bit stiffer, but with that I don't mean by much. On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being very stiff over stock (like coil overs), and 1 being the same as OEM, I would say the Sprints are between a 3 and 4. The performance benifits are very noticable. For starters the lowered center of gravity you can feel right off the bat. The car feels much more stable in and around turns and body roll has been eliminated an additional 20-25% in my opinion. Im looking into swapping in stiffer sway bars now, to make this G an even better street machine.
I drove it across speed bumps, in and out of parking lots and up and down my cousins driveway which is on a incline and nothing rubs or scrapes.
This is the way the car was meant to sit!
My rims are not chromed, what you see is probably just a reflection.

Re: Sprint 1.75" Springs Installed!
They're a straight fwd spring swap. The rear is easy, you simply, ok I'm gonna call it an a-arm as thats what I'm use to calling the part from american cars and trucks, you drop it down and out comes the old spring, in goes the new one. The front, you remove the struts, use a spring compressor to remove the spring, install the new one, and back on it goes. Very clean cut install. No suprises, special mods, or real tricks. Anyone with even basic automotive suspension know how and who are good with a wrench, can do the job, but if you've never worked on automotive suspension systems before, I recomend you leave the install to a pro. Time wise, you're looking at between 2 and 3 hours for the whole job.
