springs question

I would really like to lower my G but it seems that nowadays there are lots of spring choices available. As far as I know, there are 3 spring manufacturer, SPRINT, TEIN STECH, and EIBACH PROKIT. I intend to change the springs only, so any experiences with these springs ?

Re: springs question

I want to drop my Coupe too, but you need the right alignkit right? I would go with TEIN stech, but its in production for the coupe, and Eibach prokit is my 2nd pick

Re: springs question

i just dropped my g on eibachs. I feel the ride is much smoother that stock. Try the eibachs. Smooth ride and good drop IMO.

Re: springs question

Hell,

Just get a pipe saw and cut them. Or bedsprings.... those will probably be the best ride out of all of them. =P

- Don't argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.=P-

Re: springs question

I'm in the same dilema..

Initially I was gonna go Eibachs and put on 20s because 20s take up alot of wheel well size ... and I figured the eibachs as it lowers but not as much as the sprints.

but now I am thinking I can get nicer 19s for the money and put on the sprints which will lower it down more for the same effect with less weight and abit lower center of gravity on this setup.

so .. I may do that .. I'm just waiting for some money to grow on my money tree outside.

later

Re: springs question

Well..., I dunno with you guys but for me, ride quality is much more important than looks. As with my previous experience using coil over for my eclipse, I really can't stand the bumpy ride. I really like the sprint spring since 1.75" is pretty good but I really don't know whether the ride will be still nice or not. All I know is eibach spring will give us nice ride quality but the drop is very minimal. It would be great if someone who tried both springs can give some comments here

Re: springs question

are H&Rs available? THose will be the most comfortable aftermarket spring available. The Eibach gives a nice drop, I belive the eibach are close to stock springs in stiffness.

Tein S Tech will drop you the most and will look the best.
