I've been getting mixed opinions...some people think it makes the car look way too flashy/tacky and others think it's hot. Honestly, what do you guys think?

Would I be better off with black or silver? I'd probably get black Work VS-XXs or Racing Hart C4s if I were to change wheels.

Edit: I wish I could get the gold color to show better. Any tips on using my point and shoot?

no, gold is bada.ss on black mang. keep them. personally, black, gold, and bronze are the only colors i'd floss if my G was black.

as far as your point and shoot...adjust the levels.

also, your car is looking geez. keep the gold sf's. they're HOTT.

 

Very true, but I was on the fence to begin with. I got the inspiration from a lot of black STIs which I saw rolling around on gold wheels but now I'm starting to think the look is a bit more "tuner" and fits Subies well but perhaps not the G35.

I'll try to get some better pics up later. Import-Tooner had some GREAT shots of his gold SF-Cs.

 

i think you need to have that flashy look consistent with your car's
body pieces. front lip is probably a must have, along with Veilside
side pieces.


it's like you put on some nice flashy shoes but you're still wearing
a regular suit and tie...need a flashy sports coat.

Gold gives it that unique JDM look, some people are just too conservative for that. But my first choice would be the WS-XX's in black, so rare and hot.

 

I think that they look good b/c it is different, i had thought about gold when deciding on what rims to go with. I ended up going with chrome on black but the Gold now seeing it looks pretty Tight...
