what size rims and offset with SPRING LOWERING SPRINGS?
what size rims and offset with SPRINT LOWERING SPRINGS?
need some opinions on what the size of rim will look best after having installed SPRING SPRINGS. i also need to know what offset is best. i want to go wide in the rear but NOT RUBBING WHATSOEVER. Please help. I'm thinking 19" will be best since the Sprint springs drop my stock 18's pretty low allready. anyone else have Sprint springs on their coupe? thanks RX

You wrote SPRING SPRINGS.
Anyway, can't remember the spring rates on those but the drop was
about -1.75" too low imho.
the lowest you would want to go on lowering springs is the eibachs,
probably. even so, it's pretty darn low and aftermarket dampers
are highly recommended. my rears has a drop of -1.4" looks awesome
though.
well my drop is 1.75 and it looks perfect with the stock 18's just need to make sure to get thin rubber with the 19's. BTW spring springs once and sprint springs twice. i just assumed you knew what i meant. RX i will have to post a pic but i need a pic resizer installed.

heres a pic i tok recently when i had the opportunity of a lifetime and drive 4 laps around Miami-Homestead Motor Speadway. i got them from a buddy of mine who is a morning DJ at a local radio station Anyway as you can see, the 18's i have pretty much max it out. i just need to get 19's with thin rubber. thanks
btw if the pic doesnt come up on this post, i wil need to redo the post. (im not sure what size i need to make the pic to upload) RX

The pic is too smal and can't open it either.
I'm not exactly sure what the question is.
But I think you're asking if your car is lowered 1.75" and you get 10.5" +22 offset in the rear, will you rub?
The answer is no. I have attached a pic of a coupe w/ 20's with the exact same size wheels in the rear, dropped 2". The owner probably rolled or cut the inner fender lips, but this is likely because he went with 20's and not 19's like you want to do.
What's the difference? well, 1" in diameter, which translates to approx 0.50" is ride height or in simple terms, 0.50" closer to the fender line.
The wheel size and offset are important. But just as important is the tire size. I would recommend 275/30/19 for the rear.
