Alignment or not?
Alignment or not?
I just got my 20's and saw that awful picture of what happens due to negative camber. I have also lowered my G with Eibachs. Should I get the car aligned? The rear seems to camber in a bit also. I used to drive an Accord on 18's and all four tires always went bald on the inner treads due to camber issues. I had camber kits and proper alignment on my Accord and they didn't seem to do a damn thing in terms of uneven wear.
Just curious what people are experiencing with their G's. I don't want to get new tires every time I change my oil. I'm also rubbing in the front even though my tire/wheel combo is guaranteed to fit. At least it looks cool.

Re: Alignment or not?
As you already know by now, the tires that run 20" rims cost a lot more than you're average 17"s.........almost double. You should consider bringing it in to a shop and having the camber adjusted. $50-$60 for an alignment adjustment is much cheaper than $300 tires.
Re: Alignment or not?
Make sure to call around and find a shop that likes to deal with lowered cars. Some shops hate the "trouble that lowered cars bring".
