Just got the kit installed - Looks great. How long should I wait until I get it aligned? Also, Should I get new shocks?

I aligned my car week after. As for the shocks, don't know, I'll just wear mine out before I get new ones or maybe go for the Tein Basic Dampers if they ever release it.

Photo's look great! I got an email from Meineke that they install springs. I can have the springs installed there and have them check the alignment right after install. I'm not sure how bad the springs will misalign the car right off the bat but i would expect an alignment is needed sometime thereafter. When your wheel pulls to one side, you'll know it's time.

What are they are charging? Garage Kwai charges $175. I will get the alignment sometime next week.

I paid $110CAD for my install and it took 30-45mins without alignment. I have had my car dropped for a while now and still don't have it aligned. My rear wheels are cambered so I should really get up off my butt to go get it done. Our stock suspension allows for slight camber adjustment...pretty cool.


It's still a G thang!!

 

I would love to know if the alignment range of the sedan can get the alignment back to stock specs after lowering without to use of some sort of special kit.

RacerX - I went to Sears to get my alignment done. Apparently there is no camber adjustment in the front on the sedan. I had the rears adjusted but they couldn't get the left rear into spec. It is still 1/2 degree off for some reason. I don't think they were incompetent or pulling my leg, because I watched the guy and he seemed to know what he was talking about (not that I do). With the eibach's perfect alignment seems to be unattainable, unless someone else has a suggestion....

 

The guy at the shop said to get it aligned after apx 500 miles. The spring should settle by then.

I got an appointment at Garage Kwai this Saturday the 12th! I spoke with Benson there and he remembered you! I dropped my kid off at karate class in paletine and I drove to Kwai in about 10 minutes from there!

Can't wait! Also, I called Meineke and they said they would not install them. I checked a few other places by where I work but nothing less than $300.00 for the install. Kwai seems to be the way to go.

Are you going to the GLD this Sunday?
