If so does the color come off easy?

Steve, I would just go with the Mcgard spline drives. You have so much money into your car and wheels, why try to save a few bucks on inexpensive wheel locks? The Mcgards come with a guarantee that they won't rust or lose their color. I have these and love them!

I understand that you are trying to color match the lugs to your car, but I don't think it's a very tasteful mod- especially if they are mated to black wheels.

Please reconsider this!!!

If you are indeed going with black wheels, then chrome lugnuts would contrast well against the spokes, and match your chrome or polished lip.
