Spring Choice

I'm looking to drop my 05 6MT Coupe down a good inch. I was considering H&R, Eibach and Tein S Tech... Anyone care to give me their suggestions on these 3? Was leaning towards Tein for price, Eibach and H&R are 100 more, but I would like to keep ride quality nice. They all seem to drop the same.

since you mentioned price, go with Hotchikis springs. it's not the cheapest but at least you won't need to get anything else for a decent ride.

Will Hotchikis provide a little over an inch drop like Eibach H&R and tein S? Yet keep the ride like stock?

I just got the eibach prokit put on with tokico dspecs and the ride comfort has improved despite being lowered (I have a 2005 6mt). My friend has the s-techs on his 05 6mt and it seems to lower about the same as my prokit.

I only want to do this once. I was originally leaning towards S-Tech but Ive been told rear spring rates are not good. I def want the car level or front a little lower then the rear.

Hotchkis doesnt seem to drop enough, so I guess its Eibach, S-Tech or H&R.

Im looking to drop my 03 coupe . But dont want to worry about allignment issues . Does any one run the Hotchkis springs ? I hear they drop the car less than an inch and that seems to be the point where your allignment cant be adjusted with out more parts to correct it .

get coilovers. the tein basics can be had pretty cheaply and they ride great plus allow you to adjust the height and rake exactly how you want it. its worth the extra money.

I heard coilovers start to squeak and make excess noise after a while.

Don't believe everything you hear. There are two types of S-techs. One is for the G35, which I don't like and the other is for the 350Z, which I've been running on my car for almost 18 months and have zero complaints. They yielded a 1 inch drop all around.
