HELP! Brake Noise w/ New Wheels

Ok, so I just got my new wheels. I-Forged - 20's. Almost everytime I hit the brakes my front brakes squeel for a couple of seconds right before the car comes to a stop! The company that installed my wheels says that I probably need to upgrade the brake pads (which are currently stock pads). Is this true? Has anyone had a similar issue after installing new wheels?

That's my thought, but they claim that the larger wheel puts more pressure on the stock brakes and causes the squeel?

No. The dealer has changed the pads a couple of times due to issues which they say are under warranty. But not because of break noise. I gather that not many have experienced this issue.

well im not really sure if upgrading the pads will help since from what i've read, all brake pads tend to squeal. But u should upgrade to something like hawk hps anyways so it shouldn't hurt..

Does it squeel all the time? or in cold temps?, cause i heard our brakes are made to run hot, and in colder temps they squeek. try driving your car for a bit and then brake, see if they do the same thing?

It actually gets worse the more i drive, but it also happens when the wheels get wet. I'm really not too sure what it is. I took it to the shop today for alignment and they told me that the brakes have nothing to do with the new wheels and should not have been affected
