Nismo Swaybars Installed
I just installed the Nismo swaybars today along with a friend. It really wasnt that hard at all. the time consuming part was the front cause there are tons of bolts that need to be taken off from the undercover. I havent taken it out for a spin yet, but i'll see if i can do it sometime today and update you guys. I have pics here but it doesnt convert the images to show here. but here's the links instead.
Here's what came in the package:
This is the part# from Nismo
Rear swaybar
Rear swaybar w/ logo
Front swaybar --- What a fattie this one is
Front swaybar - passenger side

Re: Nismo Swaybars Installed
thanks gordgee.
update: the Nismo sways with the stock suspension seem to be better. not really night and day difference but faster steering response in quick manuvers. also it rolls a bit flatter as well. i wouldnt say it eliminated the body roll, but i did minimize it better. i still have to lower the car. i was able to exit out of a 360 degree freeway transition turn faster than before....for all you in LA, it was the 2 North to the 134 West transition. overall, im pleased. i dont know about the Cusco swaybars, i heard really good thing about them on the my350.com site tho. Oh, and for those of you who heard about the Nismo non-VDC swaybars, those are the ones that i have. they fit no problem at all. and my purposely turn on my SLIP light and everything seems fine so far.

Re: Nismo Swaybars Installed
RacingDynamics: as for the cusco swaybars, from what i heard, they almost have the same performance as the Nismo sways but probably Cusco are just a tad stiffer. the cusco has the adjustable front sways and that may be the reason why they are a bit stiffer. Front has two settings: 120% or 137% stiffer and the rear about 170% stiffer.
i really havent seen any kits for the sedan. but they coupe kits will not fit the sedan kits. the 350Z and G35 coupe are the same kits though.

Re: Nismo Swaybars Installed
I'm never come up on any info source that would make me think all the sway bars for the Z, coupe and sedan aren't the same. I have seen no qualified information leading me to think otherwise. Just because a manufacture doesn't want to to their part in checking and plays it safe and says no they won't fit, it's going to stop me. If I have to, I'll find a Z owner that did a sway bar up grade and try and buy his old bars for no other reason than to prove they work. If I didn't have getting a LSD as my top priority, I would have already order sway bars.
If they do or don't fit, I will spread the word when I find out. Honestly it's not a priority for me now.

Gsedan35,
What makes you think the sway bars will fit the sedan? The sedan has a different size frame it is longer in length and narrower in width wouldn't that effect the fitment of swaybars.

Your issue has been brought up before and I'm not the only one saying their the same.
The wheelbase is the same, coupe to sedan. Nissan has no purpose in creating a different lower pan width. The only time I've seen that is when Honda finally split their accord platform to distinctly USDM and JDM versions where they created a unique manufacturering process allowing different pan width's on the same platform. It is very much NOT the industry norm, and goes compleatly against the cost savings generated in FM platform shairing. Published differances in overall length occur after the wheel centerline's, this is know as overhang. Same for differances in track width's, that is not a measurement or reflection of any differance in lower pan width. Track width's measure side to side wheel centeline's, running different wheel widths with different offset's makes for track width change.

Re: Nismo Swaybars Installed
well, i havent seen anyone with it yet on a sedan. i just see that the part numbers are the same for the cusco and nismo for the Z33 and the CPV35. they do not mention the sedan (V35). if you wanna try it, go ahead. im just going by what i see based on the part#'s shown.
