Which following wheels are best bang for $$?

I am trying to decide which of the following rims to get...
Each I would get 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 staggered and Toyo T1R's around.

Ruff Racing's 278 rims. I really like this one. Does anybody have experience with this brand? How is the quality and strength?

I also like Privat's profil wheels.

What about ADR's M-sports?

Which one is best bang for the buck?
How about reliability, and strength?

i don't mean to be rude, however, all of the listed are crap brands. no strength, or reliability. for those who disagree, research on wheels/brands, and how wheels are made. i'm just trying to help you save money overall.

If i was driving a civic i'd consider brands such as ADR.
The G35 deserves better.

i hear your points about the quality but if your on a budget and want wheels, not every1 has money sitting around for wheels...

with that being said my vote is for the RR 278 wheel...good luck with whatever you decide.

What about this Axis line of rims? They have some nice stuff at reasonable prices?

Anyone have any feedback on those?

i agree some of us dont have deep pockets like others, and if youre not doing any autocrossing, dragging or drifting and just use your car as an everyday commuter i woldnt worry about name brands too much. if youre on a budget just make sure you buy wheels that will blend in very nicely with your g. just because you have affordable wheels doesnt mean they only belong on "civics" if you do it with class your g will look clean. its your g put whatever type of wheels you want on it.

Axis has pretty decent wheels. I would also stay away from no-name brand rims esp. in bigger sizes since they will likely bend over those potholes.

What about some nice Enkei racing series wheels? These are great looking (IMHO), light, and very reasonbably priced ($300 range). Any love for Enkei's?

I have the RPM2's for winter and they are good wheels. The RPF1's and RP03's (my favorite) are nice.

i don't have deep pockets either. i just saved. if you can't get it now, save. it's well worth it. i'd rather purchase wheels that have quality, than purchase something that doesn't. it's cheaper in the long run.

Axis, are pretty good. the Enkei line are strong. i've had personal experiences with Enkei's (like straight into the curb/pothole/ditch), and they've held up well.

The guys saying to spend a boat load of cash on name brand wheels just want to feel better about dropping a lot of cash. Yes they will be lighter and stronger. However, you are kidding yourself if you think Volks, Mayas, DPE, Work, whomever etc won't bend.

Get what you like and FOCK anyone who thinks less of you. Way I look at it, wheel repair is dirt cheap, you can fix bent rims many times and still save a ton over the forged wheels (which still bend). Not to mention, if you are anything like me, you get tired of rims quickly. Another new set of name brand wheels will really set you back!

+1

You are more than likely better off sticking with stock in this case.

i dont know ive had a couple sets of "cheaper" rims on previous cars never had any problems with bends or reliabilty and i took those through some rough winters up north. the only difference i would see coming in to play is the weight issue but your not talking that much of difference anyways. go with what you like and is affordable.

I have the RUFF Racing 278's and Love em. Same reason, I didn't want to spend too much, but wanted to have a good look. I haven't had any problems with then neither.
