I was told the widest lip you can have on a Volk wheel is 3.75". Is this true? It seems like the lips are wider when you see them on a car. More like 5 or 6"

^ what he/she said because it depends on your clearance. if you have widebody, no brembo's, you can run an aggressive offset that will most likely have a 4" + labia on the rim.

 

i would assume with the Brembos because i'm getting a six speed hopefully

^ of the Volk line, Volk GT-AV, and Volk GT-V have the biggest possible Labia's. i'm on the GT-AV's and it's hott.

If you're picking up a NEW coupe, you get no Brembos. They got rid of the Brembos after '04.

 

i dont know about the new style volks..

but i know by personal experience that the largest lip you can get is gt-7s.

i had gt-7s before 8.5/9.5 and they were even bigger than my 9.5/10.5 sf challenges now. i cant imagine how big the lip on the 10.5 gt-7 would be (~4 inches) make sure to get the right offsets cause the dealers will pawn off offsets that nobody wants.

ohh yeah...i dont htink its possible to get 5 and for sure a no go on 6 for volks.

Just measured the lip tonight. 20" Volk GT-C's (10.5, 9.5) approx. 4" lip

 

^ that's impossible. my friends have the same rim, and mine spank theirs!! good deals though. Post up pics ASAP!!!!!
