HELP! - Tokico 350z D-Specs Shock Install
I'm in the middle of installing springs and shocks and I'm in need of some help (this is my first attempt at something like this, so please forgive any stupid questions). I'm working on the rears and the springs have gone in fairly easily but I'm not sure how tight/far down I'm supposed to tighten the piston rod top nut on the shock. I've transfered over the dust cover and rubber bumpers/spacers and mounting bracket from the original shocks to the Tokicos. The Tokicos came with 2 nuts of different thicknesses and I'm not sure how far down the threaded shaft I'm supposed to go? Am I supposed to use both nuts - one to lock the other one down? Should I measure the amount of threaded shaft so they're both the same on both shocks? Help please! I've attached a photo that shows the shock and one of the nuts partially on the rod with the other on the ground next to it.
And yes, I realize it's 7:40PM on a Saturday and I have absolutely no life.
Thanks in advance.

You can hold the piston shaft with a monkey wrench or a small box wrench and hand tighten the larger nut you show already on the shaft. it does not need that much torque. Just hand tighten...like i donno...35ft/lbs? (just my guess).
Then the smaller nut you can use to lock the larger nut in place. just hand
tighten. don't use an impact gun.

no prob, wingnut.
inTgr8r- yep, that'll work too. or you can put a dab of threadlock-blue on
just the one larger nut.
it's up to you how to do it.

I used a nylock nut, which are self locking.
