'04 Sedan proper aftermarket wheel fitment/offsets for 19" staggered setup
(yes..I've read the forums & reasearched this first, in case you're wondering) I'm up for buying some rims & tires, now that I think I'm done with performance mods for now. I've been doing my homework on the forum relative to what rim sizes & offsets (19", preferably staggered setup) will fit on my sedan and what won't. After reading all the posts on the forum about this, as well as "rubbing" issues, it seemed clear to me that for a staggered setup, the proper setup would be: FRONT: 19x8.5 +35 rim with 245/35/19 tires REAR: 19x9.5 +45 rim with 275/30/19 tires. Since finding the rim I like (Axis Milano) and the setup I want, I've been shopping around for the best price (from a handful of websites). The problem I'm running into is that it seems like every company I talk to tells me something different relative to the setup I want and whether or not it will fit/rub. I've heard from one company that the setup above won't work and that the tires will be beneath the fender. Another told me that I should run the 19 x 8.5 all the way around with 245/35/19 tires. I spoke with AXIS directly on the phone and they told me that the 8.5's won't work (could have issues) and that I would need an 8.0 (which they don't make in the Milano)..so I'd have to opt for my 2nd choice of the Axis Hiro.
Can anyone shed some light on this or confirm if/what they are telling me is true? The last thing I want to do is drop $2K + on rims & tires to found out when I have a car full of people and I hit a bump in the road, the tires hit/rub the fenders (and no, I really don't want to roll them, as I've read some people have done & have had issues with doing so). Not sure if this matters or not, but I believe I will be keeping the stock suspension (unless the car looks ridiculous & needs to be dropped).
Thanks for reading & I hope I can get to the bottom of this!

I'm not sure who you talked to at Axis but it sounds odd for them to say that when they know the G's better than a lot of people I know in the market.
Anyhow, the set up you described is the PERFECT staggered set up for the sedan. You will not have to do anything to your car, just put the wheels on and enjoy them. They will be as flush as you can be with the fenders. You can also do 19x8.5 +35 all around without any problems.
Here is a like to Wheel Studio, ask for Tom and he will help you with the Milanos. Great guy to deal with and good prices too.
