Suspension gurus PLEASE chime in

I have currently Tein H-techs for the 350z (7/8" drop overall) and stock shocks and 20s. I am looking for a little bit more comfort and so I decided on the Tokico shocks. Since I am running 350z springs and after reading many threads, it is in my best interest to get 350z Tokico shocks.

The main question is if I currently like my height and if I change to the 350z Tokico shocks, I know it'll be lower but how much? Also, if I go with the 350z shock, will my 20s rub with the shorter shaft? This is what I am debating on.

The 350z shock: shorter shaft, longer range of travel (shorter than stock?)
The g35 shock: longer shaft, less range of travel (same height as stock?)

ANY SERIOUS ADVICE IS APPRECIATED!

you won't make it more comfy by changing out the dampers as those are under
damped already. You need to change springs to progressive rate if you want
comfort over performance.

Right, Stock shocks are underdamped and now my ride is a litle bit bouncy now on dips/elevation changes. I think my shocks are going out and so my concern is ride height and rubbing

You will not change ride height no matter what Tokico D-spec you use, G or Z fitment. The shorter length of the rear Z fitment refer's to the total length of the piston shaft and has zero effect on ride height. Based on what you want, set your D-specs at 3 turns from full soft and test the car for at least a week, then make whatever change you feel is needed. I would not go below 2 turns from full soft.

Wouldn't the longer verses the shorter compare as to compression travel?
