What tires are you using?

if you have aftermarket wheels...what tires are you using on them? and why did you choose the tires you bought??? just curious...

I'm using Dunlop Direzza's on my Volk GT-7's and they perform great and were a sponsored set of tires...

I have Bridgestone S-03's mainly because I bought them at a Firestone store. I am happy with their performance and I don't hear the tire noise people complain about.

i have Bridgestone S-03's on my volk gt7's. They are very road noisy, but that is the tradeoff i take for great performance

How's the noise level of the T1R? I've been hearing they're pretty loud.

I have been reading the same thing and i don't think they are loud at all. I'm usually to busy listening to the growl of the exhaust any way
I don't think they make any more noise than the stockers did if it wast for the posts saying they are noisy i would of never thought about it.

My first set aftermarket wheels were 19' advans wrapped in toyo fz4 all seasons strapped to my IS300. They were "OK". I then sold those and went with staggered SSR's wrapped in bridestone S03's. I did NOT like these tires. They gripped well in dry wearher but I did not like how they felt in the rain. I was nervous to go over 65 in the rain becuase for some reason the car felt like it was hydroplaning if I went any faster. Lets just say these tires scared the chit out of me quite a few times, they were also the noisiest set of tires I have ever owned. I liked the pilot sports that came on the G stock but were to expensive to get for my current 19s. I opted to wrap them in T1-S's. These are one of my favorite tires, they feel good in the wet weather and handle great in the dry weather. Road noise could be better. I give them an 8 out of 10. I think I may try a set of falkens for my next set of tires. I hear the ST-115'a are a quiet tire.

thats the first complaint ive hear about falken. Maybe he liked to set the tires to max PSI? Or maybe he just wanted you to buy a certain brand of tires over the falken?
