i was wondering whats the best product to use to clean the lip on volk gt-c's? i believed they're polished lips...

will that meguair nxt metal polish thing work well? the one that you use on the chrome exhaust tips? wondering if it would be safe to use on the lip part of the rims...

no, Volk wheels are not polished labia's. they're anodized clear coated. the meguiar's nxt all metal polish will not work on the labia's of Volk wheels. regular soap and water is perfect. you can wax or polish anything to your liking as you would do with the body of the car (anything clear coat safe).

I put on a few coats of Zaino before I mounted them.

I wash with Zaino car wash.

Dry them and spray on some Zaino Z-6 and wipe dry.

word, also follow up with the Meguiars NXT wax. idk, but i've tried Zaino on my entire exterior, but it just doesn't hold up the way the NXT does. i use my car daily, and work at the shipyard.

just use soap and water along with a microfiber towel, DO NOT use a terry towel it will scratch the **** out of your volks. After that just apply some wheel wax

I drive it home
dry it
spray it
and the next day after driving have to wipe it again. I don't think there is any way out of this one.

push as much water out with your hands (providing it's not the winnings, lol), towards the car. then drive it around a block while braking frequently to get the rotors shined back up, and then spray Meguiar's NXT quick detail, then wipe off with microfiber, then wipe again with another microfiber. sounds like a lot, but you pick up after a while. you have to drive, because Volks have secret water pockets!!!!

You can stick small towels, shop size inside the rim to soak the water while you dry the rest of the car and rims. Come back to them and almost all of the water should be soaked up! <--- thats one way!
