Hey guys, I am a Newbie here and jsut bought my 05 6mt couple months ago.........I recently think to upgrade my OEM 19" to some aftermarket rims, however, i have a limit budget, so I am thinking to buy some after market rims (Rims only) that can fit the Stock RE050A tyres in order to save some $$ (i believe the stock tyres are 225/40/19 (8" Width) in front and 245/40/19 (9.5 width) in rear???correct me if i m wrong)..........so my question is if i look for after market rims, do I jsut simply look for 19" rims (8" in front and 9.5" in rear)...do i need to worry about the offset???i actually not sure what is offset is.....anyway......great appreciate for any input

I dont think that will work. Tires that you are supposed to put on aftermarket wheels are low profile tires. They look and perform better then your stocks. Plus aftermarket wheels for the G usually come with 8.5 or 9.5 fronts and 10 to 10.5 rears. So im not sure your stock tires will actually fit. Just do it the right way from the beginning so you dont hve to worry about it later, just save up for good tires. By the way i have 19s VOLK GT7 for sale. If you are interested in that, With tires.
