maxima rims on a coupe?

i have and 04 coupe, with the 18s, and i was wondering if i could get a set of 17" maxima rims for the winter, and just slap on some snow tires? i belive my car has the staggered rims on it now, but having the same width all around shouldnt be a problem right?

DO you have brembo's? If you don't, I think it should be ok.

ok, so i am gonna buy some winter setup from tire rack. now when i was asking at the dealership about winter tires, they said that i will have a problem with the tire pressure monitoring system. they told me that i will have to buy infiniti rims from them, otherwise it will set off the tire pressure system. i didnt belive this. can someone confirm?

In that case should fit OK unless Brembo equiped.
Unless I'm missing something....

maxima offset = +40 if i'm not mistaken.
coupe offset = +23

the maxima wheel would sit too close to the fender and will rub. or is it - too close inside and rob on the shocks?... hm...

+40 is tighter to suspension & clears no problem

ok guys i am new to this forum but i have been a long time member at maxima.org. currently i work at a nissan dealership as a tech and i decided to answer your question about the tire monitor system. the way that system works is the monitor is programmed using consult 2 and it can be programmed to any wheel/tire combo. the monitor itself can be removed and it can be put on any rim even aftermarket rims. also i have a set of 4 rims from a 2004 and up maxima. the size is 245/45/18 with about 94% thread life on them and they are for sale. offset is 40 and they can be put on a g35 just like g35 rims can be put on a maxima. hope that helps.
