Any reccomendations on what rim/slick to use?

Sup guys, im looking into getting a set of rear slicks for my 05 6pd. Im currently installing a dual stage NX setup. I Know im not going far with these stockers so i figured a full slick instead of a drag radial would benefit me more. Any ideas on some good light cheepie rims i can use for the rears? I was looking into some rx7 wheels (16x8) and some 300zx wheels(16x7.5). Any other suggestions as far as what kinda rim to use? Also what size tire should i be looking at? The stockers are the 19's and i figured at lease 2" worth of rubber on both sides of the rim bringing a total height of around 23" or so. So should i be looking for a slick around that height, or should i go a little higher? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You want a slick that will be fairly close to the original tire height of the 19" tires (27") otherwise your final drive will go up (numerically) and you will have to shift too many times during the 1/4 mile. A little smaller might give you some more launching power, but too small and 1st gear will be granny gear.

And be carefull with the slicks, now that your tires will hook up, your clutch is going to be taxed pretty hard at launch.

You know, I don't know how bulletproof our rearends are. Can they withstand clutch drops with slicks mounted? I'd be more concerned with that rather than getting maximum grip.
