yes u can. i did it with mine. if u just go to tire rack and click optional sizes

 

You know, I called Tire Rack a little while back on this issue.
The Technician that I spoke with told me that the "optional sizes" were
only for aftermarket Wheels. Not the OEM Wheels. I know that quite
a few, on the Forum, have already done the 245s and 275s but this is just
what I was told. Someone else want to confirm this ?
The 245s and 275s do really look good though !!

 

It appears that baileyrx has had experience to the contrary, with several high speed car clinics, and 10+ autox. Now I tend to think that HSDE's & autox's are typically going to be hard on tires, putting more stress then the usual person would, no?

Yes, I understand it's not recommended by tire manufacturer's. I'm simply stating that there is evidence that it can be done successfully.

 

Just an update: I love the new tires. I went with 245/35 and 275/35. The look is much better than stock. The car no longer understeers, and I'm seeing much less of the slip indicator (more traction with wider tires).

No problems for about 1k miles on the Toyos. Highly recommend this size for stock 19's!!!

 

Do you mean "no longer oversteers"? Wide tires out back would increase tendency to understeer.

 

yes, but wider tires up front helps with turn-in!
