Question Coupe tire pressure sensors on sedan

I just put the 2004 18" coupe wheels (with tire pressure sensors) onto my '04 sedan. Now, the tire pressure warning light comes on whenever I drive for more than 30 minutes. Anyone out there with 18" coupe wheels on their sedan encountering this issue? Can the coupe TPS be used on the sedan?
Other than the TPS, I really like the look and feel of the coupe wheels on my sedan.
Thanks in advance....

I have the same issue with my coupe and the 18" stock wheels.

When driving for more than 40 minutes or so the tire pressure warning light comes on. I do not get any 10 second beep as mentioned in the manual and it seems to happen most often in cold weather.

IMO just put more air in the tire.............when the weather is cold you lose air in your tires..........this happened to me too when i dropped my air pressure to 25 so i wouldnt have that much tire spin at the strip but later on my TPS came on and it made a 10 second beep

the thing that worked for me is i just put in more air.............i dont kno but just letting you know what i did lol didnt really help anyways but i hoped it did help in some ways

The TPS needs to be programmed for the specific car so you will need to take it to the dealer. Mine used to go off after 30-40 minutes of driving as well until I took it to the dealer to get it reprogrammed and it never came back on.

How much did this cost you?

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I'll take it to the dealer to get it programmed at the next maintenance.
