OFFSET/LIP GURUS!!!

I want to get a set of diamond black gt7s to fit my 04 NON brembo coupe....what offset should i look for to get a nice biiiiiig lip??

this is what one vendor sent me...

19X8.5 +23 / 19X9.5 +24

19X9.5 +30 / 19X10.5 +24

I am thinking of going the 10.5 inch rear but based on that offset will i have the same size lip?? does offset even affect lip size???

 

def going to have to go with 10.5 in the rear for the big lip

 

i dont know much about offsets but i have + 22 all around and it looks pretty good i dont have gt 7's though... he'res a pic of 22 all round maybe this will help

 

truplay love ur setup. what offsets do you have and what size lip?? are u running the 9.5 10.5 setup?? i think ur also NON brembo...??

thanks only thing i didnt like about the 22 offset was the front wheels... wish they came out a bit more..

 

offsets are rim specific. your +22 all around wont comprare to the lip size he's going to get on his gt-7s.

i think +24 front/back is the most aggressive non custom offset you can get for gt-7s. since you dont have brembos, you can order +12 for EXTREME lip !
too bad your camber will be all fvcked up and you'll have to roll them fenders.

 

I just got my GT-7's in Diamond Black... 9.5F +30/ 10.5R +24,
Ive got a 4.5" rear lip and about 3" front and they will clear BBK (even tho I dont have them yet).

Im lowered on Eibach's with about a -2.3deg R camber. So far no rubbing even when pushing hard in the corners but I only have about 3/8" clearance betwen tire and fender at best. I would recommend not pushing the lip size any bigger.

 

nice, but your labia sizes are:
69mm = 2.7"
106mm = 4.17"

what made you go with the +30 offset in the front, and not the +17? dayam, black on DG is sick. i should've done that.

I chose the +30 offset for the front for two reasons... 1. I liked the way it looked and 2. It was in stock and could be mounted the same day I bought the wheels.

I was uncertain about the black wheel on DG but Im very pleased with the way it turned out.

 

that looks great..i wonder how Diamond Black would look on brilliant silver...guessing similar since its a tad lighter than DG...

 

i actually like the look w/o those center caps either....hmmm
