how to take off the lug nuts?
Im swapping my stocks with my winter wheels. I have a big problem.
I can't even take off the stock wheel! the lug nuts are way too tight. I lifted the car first and then I used the L-shaped handle to try to take of the lugnuts by turning counterclockwise, but nothing even budges!!!
how do you take off the wheels?

First off, lower the vehicle so the tire is on the ground. Next, take a socket, slightly larger than the size of the one you use on the actual lugs, wrap a shop rag over the open end, slide it over the lug, then with a hammer, give the other end of the socket a sharp rap. Do this to each of the lugs and then you should be able to take them off without much further problem.
Basically, you want to break the seal between the lugs and the wheel. I've seen this work on junk yard heaps that have had their lugs seized on for ages.
Remember that you don't want to go at the wrench with too much torque because you definitely don't want to snap a lug. That's just a pain to have to go to a shop and press in a new stud. With the steps I gave above, you'll be surprised how easily the lugs will come off.
Also, get a quality torque wrench (ask for one for Christmas...), put it in the trunk and make sure that you use it whenever you get something done that involves removing your wheels. Don't trust shops to torque your lugs properly.
Good luck.

Dude ...sorry , not trying to be mean . But if you cant remove a tire . Take it to a tire store and pay some one to do it . And dont touch your car again . Pay some one to work on it from now on .

what tools do I need to loosen the nut? I don't even know who tightened the damnnn lugnut. All I have is a torque wrench, which is useless for loosening, and the L-shaped crap they give to loosen the lug nuts with. Would I need a power tool to take the lugnuts back off?
I don't even have a larger socket size to try that hammering method as akrus suggusted.
taking this job to a store would be much easier, but it's not worht the money. Since the whole process isn't that hard, I would much rather do everything myself so it can be a learning process. I just can't loosen that lug nut....aaaaaahhhhh
