Questions Regarding Tire Sizes

Can I run 275/35/18's on the rear and 245/40/18's on the front with out messing up the anti lock brakes or the VDC? I have aftermarket 9.5" in the rear and 8.5" in the front. I have 275/40/18's now and I do not like the way they look (too much side wall!!!). Thanks for your help!

you probably can but you might want to try 225/45/18's on the front
and 265/40/18's on the rear. Pilot's come in that size.

or 225/45/18 front 255/40/18 rear... 235/40/18 and 255/40/18 or, etc.
many choices.

I already have the 245/40/18's on the front, that is why I am leaning towards 275/35's. Why would that be a problem?

The biggest issue I see is the width of the wheel. What is the width of the OEM wheels? Then look at the specs for the tire you want and read what the minimum rim width is. DO NOT go with a lower series tire than the manufacturer recommends.

Thanks for your help, a 275/35/18 is perfect for the 9.5" wheel.
