TIRES that improve NOISE & RIDE QUALITY

I currently have the G35 Coupe with the Tire and Wheel Package which consists of 225/45-18 in the front and 245/45-18 in the back which both are Michelin Pilot Sports. I’m planning on buying 225/45/18 PZero Nero for the front and 235/50/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 in the back. I Understand that the back tire size will throw off my speed odometer off a little, but I’m more worried about the size not fitting or causing rubbing. Do you know if I could fit 225/50-18 in the front? The taller the better ride quality right?

<O</O
Here is a website that tells you how off your speed odometer will be off by: Wheel/Tire Size Comparer<O

Also, the reason I picked these tires are for road noise & ride quality. I live in the valley and the roads over hear are really bad. I know that having two different type of tires will look weird, but they’re the best for what I’m trying to accomplish and neither of them came in the front and rear sizes I wanted.

I would go with the Goodyears and run 245/40 front, 255/40 rear.

Don't mix the brands, for sure. Both of these are excellent tires, from what I've heard and read.

I wouldn't want to go with that size, cuz that would make the ride quality worse. However the car would be more fun around turns

Are there any other tires you would recommend to buy to improve ride quality and reduce road noise?

I was afraid of this. Does anyone else know if having two different type of tires will through the VDC out wack?

All right, I'll listen to reason and stick to one type of tire. I'll go ahead and go with the Pzero's with 215/50-18 in the front and 225/50-18 in the back.

1) Will these sizes work?

2) Are there any other tires you would recommend getting for trying to improve ride quality and reduce road noise?
