HELP, installing new rims but doesnt fit right????

Hi,
I never bought rims before for my cars in the past so I am sorry if this is a stupid question. I bought some used volk's gt-c 20" from a member here but im having some trouble installing them. I have a 05 g35 coupe. Basically i thought i can put them on myself but when i try to put them on, theres a gold screw/bolt thats sticking out of the brake disc that is not allowing the rim to go in all the way in. Does anybody heard of this before? Should i take it into a shop to take a look at it? any help would be great!!

lol....bro, it's very simple just unscrew the bolt. It's a must when you go with aftermarket wheels for our ride.

Just unscrew it. You don't need it.

the screw/bolt sticking out is to prevent you from putting the OEM rears up front...I think thats why its there....but yea you can just take it off

I think we need to make a sticky in the Wheel forum stating "When installing aftermarket wheels, please remove bolt on hub"

I see this kind of post like every two weeks.

Umm....don't remember a rubber cap, but....it will be the one....that keeps your wheel from fitting on.

They are short bolts that fit in a groove in the stock front wheels and only on the fronts.

No.....that's the freakin bleed valve.

You can't see the pin/bolt unless you take the wheel off.

Yea i knew that was some sort of valve and not a bolt, hence the protective cap. can you tell me where abouts is the bolt located? even thouch i cant see it wioth out removal of rim? thanks

Hey since you know this site well. do you think they removed my post for selling my stock rims? It had 3 pics in the start thread and then 3 more pics on second post. thanksbecuase i posted this question last night and no reply on where it went. and its not to be confused with another post selling the rims, this one is my own thread that i started. thanks fior the help. RX
I think i might have better luck selling them on Ebay? other wise where?

Look at your brake disk and look for a 10mm bolt. UNBOLT that sob, throw it away and put the wheels on
