GS-D3's grip very nicely but as with any performance street tire
they are pretty noisy after it's worn about 25%. they wear pretty good.

the biggest down side is that the tread pattern picks up a lot of
pebbles and crap.

the sidewalls are on the soft side so it may or may not suit your driving
criterias.

Picture of Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tread design.

What do mean about the soft sidewall?

Is the sidewall so soft that it is noticeable compared to other tires?

it's noticiably softer than S03's that's for sure. but it gains more straightline
stability as it minimizes tramlining effects. less twichy too.

I'm not sure what "tramlining effects" effects would be.

It seems that you either have the Goodyear F1's or have driven them quite a bit. Would you choose them again over the Bridgestones or Michelins?
