20" Iforged...HELP!!

Let me start off by saying what a great site this is.. I hardly ever post but visit often for the great info. I recently bought my black 6mt coupe a few months ago and have been itching to get some rims. I'm thinking about getting some 20" Iforged (FS) Swift or the Evo's.

My question is, will 20* 9.0, 20*10.5 fit on my car? I plan to lower it on some Tein coilovers also. I really don't want to roll my fenders nor do I want any rubbing. If they'll fit, what performace tires should I get that will also protect my rims w/o so much road noise? If they won't fit, what size should I get that will fit w/o any rubbing? Anyone with experience with 20" rims that can answer my questions would be greatly appreciated.

and can anybody post pics if they have any....thanks

According to this thread, you should be OK:

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...light=toyo+tr1

He is running Toyo T1R and reporting similar ride quality as the 19" OEM. Other threads report excellent ride quality and low noise on the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. But the Michelin are much more expensive than the Toyo.

I think you should be ok with that setup. It depends on how much you want to lower it, but seeing as you're getting coilovers, you could always adjust it.

I have the same set-up on my G and no problems. And not a soul touched my fenders. I was running 30 series tires, but too harsh and stepped up to 35 series. Still not an issue...

I thought that the G could only fit 20x8.5 in the front?

I think 9 is the biggest you can go in a 20. I have not seen 9.5 yet but then again offset is key

For 20's, the best i would do is 8.5 in the front and 10 in the rear. Every car is different, but my fronts rub a little when i take hard turns. I have 20" iforged aeros. If you ask iforged yourself, they would also recommend the same thing. If you go with the 9.0 and 10.5 you will likely have to roll your fenders

I have 20x8.5 in the front, no rubbing, and 10 in the rear with rubbing at first. This was with eibach prokit only. I also have pretty thick rubber; 255/35 front and 285/30 rear. I upgraded to Tein Basic which eliminated rubbing on regular to mildly aggressive driving (less bouncy ride). I rented a fender rolling tool for $50, spent an hour (taking our time) rolling the rear fenders and now there's absolutely no rubbing on any kind of driving, with 2 people in the back seat. Best $50 and hour I've spent on the car.

Like someone said above, the main factors are the offset, and how much you're lowered.

thanks, i think imma go with 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear. and im just gonna do a drop about 1-1.5in drop or enuff to close the fender gap between the fender and the rubber or just a lil tad bit lower. so if i do that is there by any chance there will be rubbing..i really dont wanna mess with the fender and roll it. so should i be ok with that set up?

thanks for all the info yall giving me..helping me out alot..a nice set of wheels with the wrong set up can really mess everything up

Rubbing will depend on your offset. My wheels are flush with the fender, I had zero wheel gap, and a bouncy ride. Thus causing the rubbing.

i have 20x8.5 20x10 iforged evo's the rear rubs so i had to get it rolled but now my fenders flare a little bit.. apparently our cars are really hard to roll because the fender is double layered unlike most cars which are single layered.. it stopped bothering me since the car still looks clean

What springs did you get? I don't rub with the 350z h-techs
