Help finding wheels for my coupe
I am having the hardest time finding just the right wheels for my coupe. I would really like to get a nice set of chrome 18x8 mesh style wheels to replace the stock 7 spoke wheels. Every time I find something it is either too heavy or too expensive. Despite having paid for such an expensive car, I really don't want to pour another $2k into it for some wheels.
Heres a list of the wheels I've looked at:
Ace Arius: Nice weight, reasonable price, can't get in an 8" width
ADR M-Classic: Similar to the Arius, but not as light
Enkei RPM2: Almost perfect but I don't like the Hyperblack finish
I like the VOLK's but they are a little more than I want to spend.
Anyone know of a good mesh style wheel in an 18x8 size with around a 30mm offset and a 5x114.3 offset?

Those are both interesting options. I don't know anything about the Armano brand or of these wheel in particular. I'm assuming it's a cast aluminum wheel. Based on that assumption, I'm thinking it might be a bit heavy. Is Armano a "house brand"? Also, do you know what the weight of the RPM2's are?
As an aside, what is the cycle time on new wheel designs? Does each manufacturer come out with new styles each year, and when? I'm wondering if there will be some new wheels in next years models that better fit my criteria.
I had another general question about Discount Tire. Since I don't have a dealer in my area, do you have associations with other places where I can get the wheels mounted? A lot of the local places won't install the wheels if I didn't buy them at their store.
Sure wish the chromed RPM2 wasn't so much more ($272 +$120 * 4 = $1568).
BTW, your support at this forum is greatly appreciated. I hope it has brought you a lot of business.

I can try. I have a HUGE amount of vendors at my fingertips. The ones you see on my website are the ones I buy the deepest with, thus can be competitive while pricing. Then there are vendors I buy from infrequently that give an ok deal...so I have to really hurt myself to get them for you at a godo rate. And then there are companies we just simply have never done, or plan to do business with.
Thank you,

Hey Todd, do you think you can get PIAA wheels? Yeah, the same PIAA that makes all the lights and bulbs. I saw them on the Japanese PIAA website. http://www.piaa.co.jp/piaa/02_product/wheel/g_rozza/index.html They are called ROZZA.
