Has anybody figured out a cause or fix

Got a fix or cause for the center tread wear on the rear coupe 17s?

too much air. Drop the pressure a couple of pounds.

Nah, I did that. I tried 35psi which is the manufacturer spec. and the wear occurred. I dropped it to 30 psi and the wear continued. How low are you talking. If I go lower the car handles like crap and it affects the gas mileage terribly.

I found a fix..... I replaced the rim with some volks....

Cheap fix is to have your local tire shop swap the right tire to the left side and vice versa. The way I drive I do mine about every 6-8 months. Thanks for reminding me I need to do it soon. The car seems to have a cambre from the factory. A decent tire shope usually does this for about $20-30 dollars a tire. Its a lot less than getting only half the wear on the tire than you should have. This also is good for those of you who have lowered the car but have not installed the camber fix kits.

That wouldnt help center wear
