Axis Supermesh - Staggered 19's on Sedan

Just installed some Axis Supermesh on my sedan.

Front: 19x8.5 with Nitto 555 245/35/19
Rear: 19x9.5 with Nitto 555 275/30/19 (no rubbing...so far so good)

I'll post better pics later...

WOW!!! I want those wheels so bad...I've been looking at those but couldn't quite get an idea of what they would look like on a sedan. Your car is just beautiful!

What were the offsets for the front and rear? Also, what does the lip on the front look like, and do you think the inside edges of the fenders will get rock chips?

Again, WOW!

Thanks, and I know about the lowering. I wanted to get the wheels on first to see how they looked. I'll work on lowering it in the next couple of months.

Offsets are 45 I believe. Front lip looks great at 2.5 inches and the rear lip is 3.5 inches. I never thought about the rock chips on the inside of the fender, but I'll deal with that as it comes...if it comes (let's hope not.)

I too am looking at puting the Supermesh on my new 04,
but does anyone know if 18" Supermesh will fit on an automatic G35 coupe (Prem-Aero-Wheel Pkg)?

-Thanks

Re: Axis Supermesh - Staggered 19's on Sedan

The Supermesh is machined with a polished lip. The setup was $2,400 with the Nitto's, mount, balance, lugs, and shipping. However, I think the lugs were kinda cheap so I had to buy new ones...add $45. And for my own comfort, I had them use hub rings when they mounted them. So, all in all, I spent about $2,500.

Well, I'm sure sombody here can give you a more technical explanation, but I just know it will help reduce vibration at higher speeds. Some wheels need them, some don't. I figured it was just safer to spend the extra $20 and put them on just incase. Appearantly you may not feel the vibration until you hit higher speeds or until you've had the wheels on for a while. Somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here...

Nice wheels, they look good on your car but I myself for one are not too crazy about mesh wheels. sorry!
