where to get alignment in southern cali?
Hey L.A/O.C guys, I plan on lowering my G soon, and wanted to know wheres a trustworthy/inexpensive place to get an alignement on my lowered car with the 20's on it. I've heard horror stories of rims getting scraped up so I am worried about this.

hmmm for a nice convenient, professional and inexpensive place... find a local goodyear retailer and service garage. I've had my camry alignments there... quick, cheap and close-by. I don't know how the wheels would get scraped... the alignments are done via a hydraulic lift with wheels bolted on. There shouldn't be a problem at all... well hopefully not.

I can see how the wheels would get scratched. They have to drive it up a rack type hydralic lift and the wheels may scrape on the side of the rails of the rack. The only safe place I can think of is Wheelwarehouse which is located in anaheim. take the 91 get off lemon and go towards anaheim not fullerton.

BTW are you getting the RSR springs? If so where did you get them and how much? Be sure to take some pics. I'm considering these springs.

there is only one place in southern california anybody should take their car to get aligned to and that is West End Alignment in Gardena. this guy is the ultimate pro on anykind of alignment you could possibly want. he charges around $75 but can do anything you want. he aligns everything from full out race cars to everyday cars.
as an s2000 owner, i know that nearly all so cal s2000 owners go to this guy for an alignment. you can check out www.s2ki.com and do a search on this guy if you dont believe me.
oh and dont worry about scratching. your car can be a quarter of an inch off the ground and he wont scratch anything. do yourself a favor and check this guy out. his number is 310-808-9233. and ask for Darin. hes the only guy that works there. really easy place to find too. hes located right where the 91 freeway ends in gardena.

Thanks for the response guys. As for the RS*R springs, go to my350.com, go to the dealer classifieds and gruppe-s.com is selling them for $210 shipped, which is the clearance price, or you can just go to gruppe-s.com and call them up.
