Anyone have good luck with these on a sedan?
My stockers are almost worn out & I can't currently afford the pilots.
The reviews on Tire Rack are good but most are from other cars.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I think they're about 4 pounds heavier than the normal tire.

I have them on the coupe. They're good for all-season tires. But nothing compared to a performance tire, like the Pilots.

The Avon Tech 550 A/S are really good all season tires, but that they do ok in the snow. TireRack.com told me that the Avon Tech 500 is best for our car, but I'm leaning towards the Avon Tech 550 A/S because it should provide a better quality ride and it should have less road noise compared to the Avon Tech 500.

The tires are decent. I have them on my G sport sedan right now. They have a decent ride and handling is good. The tread pattern is nice looking as well. They seem to be wearing well--had them for about a year and 6000 miles.
The negative--they require alot of weights to balance--according to disc. tire. I had to go back for them to rebalance after I first got them b/c the steering wheel had some vibration(which cleared up mostly). You will need to have the airpressure a few psi over to help with turn-in. Otherwise it may be kind of mushy.

Would I buy these again--maybe.
I went with 225/55/17. Helps fill in the wheel wells a bit and its wider.
