Ordered some new tires.

To finally replace the worn stockers. I am a bit nervous about the sizes I ordered. I ordered Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3's, 235/35/19 - 255/35/19. I wanted a lil more width for more contact patch, and a slightly shorter sidewall to firm up roll resistance since they are a lil softer in the sidewall. The car is lowered I just hope they dont look funny. I had these tires before on another car and really loved em. Anyone else varied their tire sizes on the stock wheels? Got any pics of how they turned out?

I'm a big fan of the GS-D3s as well (ran them on my last car), and I've contemplated replacing the stock tires with the exact sizes you've chosen in the future, so I'll be interested to hear your experiences.

245/35/19 & 255/35/19 would be my choice... less understeer and still maintaining the stagger

I just went through a set of them on my sedan in 245/45 18. Got a solid 15k out of them however I will not be going with them again. In 245/45 18 they are 29lbs each!!! way too heavy. I can only imagine the weight of your tires. My new 245/40 18 tires are 23lbs each.

The Goodyears are really that heavy? What are the 23lb tires that you're running now? Do you like them?

Tire size on stock rims...............?

Good Years are a good choice but as far as the size
goes I would have used 245x30's up front. Keep
an eye on the sidewalls for cracks.....I had a major
problem with GTC's on my 300ZX. You would think
Good Year would have solved this problem.

I got the new Mich Pilot Sport PS2's on my front and man are they awesome!

They weight about 6-7 lbs less than the stock bridgestones. They are much grippier.
