New tires in rear, but SLIP goes on and works

Just about a week ago I purchased two rear tire 245 45 18R, Cooper Zeon.
I drive the car for three days and had no problems. I also took it easy on them. Ok, today I took the car out and was going around some 90 degree turns, You know the ones you have to take to get off the highway. I noted that the slip light what on and the braked or computer slow my car down, I know this is normal, and I have not problem with this. When I took the same turns before replacing the rear tires, I didn't have the slip light go on at all. Same speed too. I think it the tires. What do you think. The car is G35 coup 2003

That's why people shouldn't have different front and rear tires. The rear tires are a lot crappier (less sticky) than the fronts.

In more detail, the type of tire. I'm not sure which Zeon tires you got. The Zeon ZPT or whatever it's called is an All/Season tire. The stock 18"s are summer performance tires. I'm not sure what kind of tire the Zeon 2XS tires are.

The Pilot Sports are one of the better tires you can get, so it's probably only ok to mix manufacturers if you really get an equivalent performing tires, which I don't think the Zeons are. Or at least, I've never seen them in any comparos, so I can't say how good/bad they are.

The rears are the cooper zeon 2XS. Summer Tires. It's not going away. Today I had it out on the road and I was going around a turn about 30mpg and it slipped and the broke to slow me down. If I take it easy, I had not problem. I think that the Cooper sucks on the side treads. Copper states that the tire have more deep tread in the center and slighly shollower tread on the shoulders. I think that the problem.
