Is $1200 a good price

I have someone that is offering me $1200 for the wheels and tires on my '06 G35 6MT. As some of you recall, I posted yesterday that one of my wheels was curbed. A place nearby said they can fix it for $185. Therefore I've told the buyer of my wheels that for the $1200 he's offering, I'm not fixing that one wheel. I only have 295 miles on them and, besides that one wheel that was curbed (and not bad at all) they're in great condition.

But should I sell them for $1200? Please, esteemed members of this site, I ask for you opinion and counsel. Thanks!

I assume they are the I-forged 19". With tires that may be a little low.

I'm not sure what I-forged is, but I can tell you that they're the ones that come stock in a G35 6MT. The sizes are 245 40/19 in the front, and 225 40/19 in the back

gmoney1227 - the ones you have come with the sports pkg and are the I-forged 19"... I would say its a fairly good deal... as the new sport package costs $1600 MRSP, you are getting $1200 for slightly used+slightly curbed one wheel.

I think go for it.

They're Rays Engineering, not Iforged. The set runs over $4K new from the dealer. Mine were brand new and perfect and I undersold them at $1,500. I'd hold out for $1,500 even with the one slightly curbed wheel.

Dude, what kind of calculation is that? you getting the sport package for $1600 on top of the 17 inches stock wheels and tires. ($1600 is the price for upgrade)

So those wheels and tires worth way more than $1600. you will be dumb to sell them for $1200.

Dude, it wasn't my calculations.... that's why in order to avoid making a "dumb" move, I'm asking here.

I know, I was responding to "coolnesh". But to answer your question, it all depend on how much you want to get rid of your wheels, it's really all about supply and demand.

I'd start your asking price for the OEM 19's at $1500+shipping.

I bought my set around a month ago, and the going price everywhere was pretty much at $1500. Anything less than that was due to rash and/or high mileage on rubbers.

I'd say start at $1500, and go from there.

Are we all c*ckblockin' someone here???
