Personal loan or credit card. SOmething almost no one will recommend. Modding against your CC or using personal loans is one of the most foolish things someone can do.

I've kind of always assumed this is how people with craptastic rides pulled off having 22" wheels?

I have seen companies that offer financing of $XX per month for a new set of wheels, but it's always at a high purchase price for the wheels and a high interest rate. Don't do it. You will still be paying for the wheels long after they are gone my friend...stock is much better until you can afford to change.

Work your a$$ off and save every week. Once you have enough to buy them it will feel like a great accomplishment, when in reality buying wheels is really not an accomplishment but at this age I guess it can be.

Don't finance wheels. Save your money... or else you'll end up paying 2-3X their original cost and maybe more.

I work at discount tire company as an assistant manager, buy through discount tire, and you wont be disappointed. They have a CAR CARE ONE CARD, if you're approved its 0% interest for 6 months, and you'll have your new wheels and tires mounted with lots of other free services!

We have them down here, it's called "TireTime". You can "Rent to Own" wheels and tires.

Some rent wheels and tires just to show their car at a car show.

What will they think of next to take advantage of people.

Here's a bio:
Tire Time Rentals Inc.

Program's Name: Tire Time
Description: Begun 10 years ago, the Tire Time franchise program has nine franchisees and associate stores operating in Texas. Mike Hughes said the company has scaled back its program from the 27 member outlets it had and is no longer operating in California and New Mexico. He said he has become more involved in offering franchise consulting. Tire Time rents and sells tires "on the rim and out the door," it said, with full service and competitive prices. Customers receive free flat repair, tire rotation, mounting and balancing for the life of the tire.

Merchandise: Offers tires (Dayton, Capitol, Sonar, Negotiator, Yokohama, Avid, Lee, Parnelli Jones); custom wheels

as above, the easiest free loan would be to find a special going on
0%APR for like a year or so. just pay it off and close the account.

i get these specials all the time in the mail... you probably do too.
