Man, I have been contemplating which Sway Bar to buy for weeks now! Nismo, Cusco, or Stillen!!!!
I think I'd want them to be about 33% stiffer than stock. Anyone besides Ducati Guy (Nismo brand)install sway bars on their coupe?? Stillen? Cusco? Brand X???
Thx!

Re: Sway Bar decisions. Help?
I bought the Mine's sway bars...I'll let you know what I think once the car is back to operational status...I only chose them because I figured not many US owners would have them...I'm sure the Cuscos and Nismos are great- I won't buy Stillen products...

Surely one of the moderator's would be up to speed on such things.

BTW, the mines bars are only 20% stiffer in the front and 30% stiffer in the rear.

Re: Sway Bar decisions. Help?
Gsedan- Good idea posting the stiffnes of the bars- I overlooked that...I know the Cuscos are technically "better", but like I said, the Mine's aren't as common...I'll sacrifice a little stiffness to be a little different...I do recommend the Cuscos though- nice equipment...

Re: Sway Bar decisions. Help?
I put the Cusco's on last week and had my first Autocross with them on Sunday. Came in second out of 17 so I think they helped a tad bit. I like them a lot.

Gsedan35: Nothing personal man, lol, just that the coupe and sedan handle different (different wheelbases, wt., Cd., etc.) so I wanted feedback applicable to my situation.

Re: Sway Bar decisions. Help?
I ran in a pretty general class that was PAXed and was restricted to cars with street tires. You can check out the official results here (scroll down to TIRE class).

I also made a video of my runs which you can view here (WARNING: 8mb file, requires latest Quicktime plugin)

Re: Sway Bar decisions. Help?
For stock classes, I noticed that SCCA rules allow a front sway bar, but you're not allowed to touch the stock rear sway bar, if any.

What kind of performance change would come from just a front sway bar, but keeping the rear stock?

And why, I wonder, are the rules that way?
