White wheels

Hey guys, i'm pretty much new to this forum and just picked up my 06 coupe 6MT 4 days ago in IP with stone interior. I have a question to all you guys, I am currently looking at wheels and originally thought about getting a set of white Volk TE37's but after seeing posts, I am doubting my wheel choice.

First, what do you guys think about white TE37's on my IP G?
Also, does anyone know of a reputable manufacturer that makes white rims with a polished lip that are fairly light?
Last question...what are your suggestions as far as wheel choice?

Thanks in advance guys.

there was a jdm pic a while ago of a ip coupe w/ white te37s. it didn't look good (bad match). your best bet would be to find a wheelthat you like preferably two piece) and have it paint matched.

Nice find truplay,

I think that looks really good actually although break dust would be your worst enemy with white wheels. Don't kid yourself and say you will wipe them down daily (it doesn't happen)

I have always liked the gold Challenges on IP, that looks great and sophisticated.

I think white on white can be extremely nice, but only if you do it the right way.

To me the right way would be to have a polished lip, and have the rims custom painted to match your car...that would be SICK.

With white I think Chrome is nice, or a highly polished alloy. I think gold rims are tacky and scream "boy racer"...but that's just my opinion.

Interesting idea with the white wheels. That smacks of old school, but it may work. Like others have mentioned, they would have to be color matched for it to work.
